An Oceanfront Paradise
It’s hard to believe there is still an
uncrowded and unspoiled spot on Florida’s Atlantic coastline,
but there is. Called Hammock Beach, this oceanfront community is
located between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach in a protected
oak hammock that has lain undisturbed for centuries.
A perfect 2.4-mile stretch of sand and beach leads to endless
days of fun.
To find it, you have to look east from a
particularly quiet section of highway A1A to the Malacompra
Greenway. Here, hidden behind its ancient grove of trees may be
your last, best chance to own beachfront property in Florida.
Hammock Beach lights up the night sky.
Hammock Beach covers more than 1,000
acres and commands a pristine two-mile stretch of beach that
is beautiful to look at as well as play golf alongside.
Membership in The Club at Hammock Beach allows you to enjoy
the fitness center and spa, tennis courts, restaurants and the
multi-million-dollar swim pavilion along with a full host of
amenities that offer the finest of coastal living.
The golf course features six holes along the Atlantic
Ocean.
And while you’ll bask in the comfort of
knowing you have discovered a special retreat, you will also be
warmed by having the cultural activities of the quaint
16th-century city of St. Augustine 22 miles to the north and the
energy of Daytona Beach 25 miles to the south.
Oceanfront Golf The Jack Nicklaus Signature Ocean Hammock® golf course is a
stunning layout with six of its 18 memorable holes alongside the
Atlantic Ocean, two of which are finishing holes. A par-72 test,
the course’s fairways and greens gently undulate throughout a
park-like setting that features lagoons and wetland areas that
are home to local wildlife.
The golf course moves through live oaks, wetlands and
lagoons.
Five sets of tees ensure that players of
all levels will face a challenge created just for their level of
skill. An additional attraction is the 18-hole putting course at
Hammock Beach that will sharpen your shot game while giving you
an enjoyable ocean view.
The Conservatory at Hammock Beach Earlier this year, Hammock Beach released a limited number
of oceanfront condominiums and sold all 92 residences in a
single day for $157 million on the same weekend that The Club
officially opened. This spring, a limited number of homesites will
be released in the newest and sure to be finest jewel in the
Hammock Beach crown, The Conservatory.
This new gated community that will take its
architectural cues from St. Augustine’s Spanish Renaissance
style and will feature a Tom Watson Signature Golf Course,
destined to be the nation’s next great “must play” course.
